Hushly is a sleep-aid tool that instantly generates soothing sleep sounds based on user settings. It does not provide story generation or companionship services.

Before using the Hushly application, please read and fully understand this Policy and voluntarily and expressly choose whether to agree to it as prompted in the application. If you do not agree to this Policy, please do not use the relevant services.

Payment Information: The Application offers In-App Purchases through the Apple App Store. Apple processes payment, and we do not directly collect your bank card details, Apple ID password, or complete payment credentials. To verify a purchase and provide the corresponding service to your Application account, we receive and process necessary order and subscription information, including product identifiers, transaction identifiers, purchase and expiration dates, renewal status, and refund or revocation status, and associate it with your Application account.

1.2 Purposes for Which We Use Information

We collect and use your personal information for the following purposes:

Providing core services: Enabling user registration, sign-in, identity verification, sleep-sound generation, and other core functions;
Providing paid services: Verifying Apple In-App Purchases, providing and managing subscription access, restoring purchases, and handling refunds and transaction issues;

Personal information collected and generated during our operations within the People’s Republic of China is stored on servers located in China (Alibaba Cloud ECS).

3.2 Sleep-Sound Data

Sleep-sound files generated in real time by this application are not stored on our servers. They are released after playback ends, and no playback history is provided.

Access controls: We strictly limit access to personal information and authorize access only for personnel who need it;

4.1 Sharing

Principle: We do not share your personal information with any company, organization, or individual, except in the following circumstances:

- Alibaba Cloud SMS: to send verification-code text messages (mobile phone number only);
- Umeng Analytics: for application analytics (anonymized data);
- Apple App Store: to complete In-App Purchases, manage subscriptions, and process refunds. Apple independently processes payment account information and payment credentials under its privacy policy; we receive only the transaction and subscription status information necessary to provide the paid service;
- Through contracts, platform rules, or other applicable mechanisms, we require partners to implement confidentiality and security measures consistent with this Policy and applicable law.

4.2 Transfers

We do not transfer your personal information to any company, organization, or individual, except in the following circumstances:

With your prior express consent;
In connection with a merger, acquisition, or bankruptcy liquidation involving the transfer of personal information, we will require the new holder of your personal information to remain bound by this Policy. Otherwise, we will require that company or organization to obtain your consent again.

4.3 Public Disclosure

5.2 Deleting Your Information

You may clear your generation records within the application. If you wish to delete other information, you may do so by closing your account.

5.3 Closing Your Account

You may close your account at any time. After your account is closed:

You will no longer be able to sign in to the account or use Hushly services;
We will delete or anonymize your personal information, except for transaction records that must be retained by law and information necessary to resolve disputes; such information will be deleted or anonymized after the applicable legal or necessary retention period ends;
Account closure cannot be reversed, so please proceed carefully.

How to close your account: In the application, go to “Me” > “Settings” > “Account and Security” > “Close Account.”

5.4 Withdrawing Consent

You may withdraw your consent to our collection and use of personal information by disabling device permissions, stopping use of the application, closing your account, or using other available methods.

5.5 Responding to Your Requests

If you cannot exercise your rights using the methods described above, you may contact us using the contact details at the end of this Policy. We will respond to your request within 15 business days.

6. How This Policy Is Updated

6.1 We may revise this Policy from time to time. If a change would materially reduce your rights under this Policy, we will notify you before the change takes effect through a prominent method such as an in-app push notification or pop-up.
